Moving long term reservation from one site to another – Version 7 Only (Caravan Parks)

(This is appropriate for those properties who have set the GST as Full for the first 27 nights and concessional thereafter).

If a customer who has stayed for over 27 nights (therefore being charged at the concession GST level) and they wish to move from their current site to another follow the steps below.

1. Change the departure date of the current booking to TODAY, make a note of the reservation number and check out the reservation.
2. Make a NEW reservation on the site that this customer is moving to. Be sure to pick up the same client details (using the surname search) when making the reservation. Put the tick in Concessional from day 1. SAVE the reservation but DONOT check it in yet. Make a note of its reservation number.
3. Go to the Main menu and press F2, click Account Transfer. Type in the OLD reservation number in the FROM box and press ENTER (you will see the details). Type in the NEW reservation number in the TO box and press ENTER (you will see the details). Now click on Transfer.
4. You may now go back to the NEW reservation and check it in.
5. You are now Done.

If your property uses the GST setting ‘Concessional form day one’, use the same procedure as above but there is no need to put a tick in Concessional from day 1 on the new reservation screen.
