RMS is a leader in the development, installation and support of reservation management systems, including online processes, for many sectors of the hospitality industry.

Since 1983, we have focused on developing software solutions to help make the bookings process faster, easier and more efficient. Continued expansion of our customer base has allowed us to commit substantial resources to ongoing product development.

Over time, we have extended the capabilities of our reservations software to incorporate or interface with other systems. This has enabled us to help our clients improve such aspects of their businesses as administration, accounts management, stock control, retail sales, staff organisation, access control, events and customer service.

We pride ourselves on producing world-class software systems that are easy to use and reliable, and with in-built flexibility that enables our solutions to be tailored to the specific needs of each client.

 

 On-site training and a range of online and on-the-ground support packages are provided, together with a remote back-up facility and disaster recovery system.

RMS Dynamic Pricing RMS Dynamic Pricing

RMS now has the ability to automatically provide a rate depending on the occupancy level of your property at any given time. This is similar to when you book flights online and the price varies dependant on how full the plane is. This is the ultimate tool to manage your yield.

What is RMS Dynamic Pricing?

RMS Dynamic Pricing is the ability to set a range of rates that will automatically apply to a variety of preset occupancy brackets. Looking forward, RMS will calculate the current occupancy level of each day of a booking enquiry and apply a corresponding rate. As the property fills, the rates can automatically be raised or lowered according to your preferences.

RMS connects to TravelClick
RMS customers can now have a seamless connection to the GDS via a seamless interface with TravelClick’s iHotelier. Several properties have already taken advantage of this integration with outstanding results. The interface to iHotelier automates the process of uploading availability to the GDS and receiving bookings. Simon Williams from TravelClick says hotel operators are reaping the rewards of the integration by being able to make more rooms available to the GDS without the worry of overbooking. Simon also noted that this had proven to be a great time saver for staff who no longer had to maintain allotments or rekey bookings.

RMS connects to the SiteMinder channel management system with 2 way interface
RMS customers now have automated access to the full distribution network offered by SiteMinder.
At last, an end to manual allocations, re-entering reservations and the fear of overbooking. The integration of RMS and SiteMinder means that your availability and rates will be uploaded and constantly updated, automatically to all the sites you are listed on. When a customer makes a booking on any of those sites the reservation will automatically drop into RMS. So far over 70 RMS customers have taken up the integration option with fantastic results.

RMS is now seeking a New Support Staff Member

Job Description:

A position now exists for a full time help desk support person in our Tullamarine office. This position includes telephone and electronic support services to our customers as well as remote and onsite training.

The successful applicant will be working in a high energy environment where the ability to self motivate is imperative and self organizational abilities are paramount.

Prior knowledge of the RMS system is a definite advantage.

Job requirements include:

Customer service excellence is the difference between RMS and our competitors - we regard customer support and training as vital and we are looking to add a person to our Support and Training team. The main role is to provide help desk assistance and training to our varied customer properties.

To join our team you will need at least a basic competence in computers, great phone manner and the ability to train clients, across the internet and on site. Knowledge of RMS software will be an advantage but full training will be provided. The position is based in our Melbourne office with frequent local and interstate travel. You will be rostered to provide after hours support (until 10.00pm) and weekend support for one week approximately every two months.

Whilst this position is part of a dynamic and structured team, initiative and the ability to foster personal relationships are very important. If you can organize your work day, prioritize competing demands and take pride in you work, you may be the person we are seeking.
